Salvage

To salvage in Palworld, mount a Water-type Pal, equip a Fishing Rod, and interact with Floating Salvage Barrels in the ocean. Complete the fishing minigame to collect materials like Coralum Ore and rare schematics.

Basic Salvaging

Any Fishing Rod and a Water mount.
- Beginner Fishing Rod (Chillet)
- Intermediate Fishing Rod (Cattiva)
Ride your Pal in the ocean, find a wooden barrel (basic salvage), aim, and cast your rod.
Minigame: Successfully keep the moving green bar behind the fish/salvage icon until the circle fills up.

Advanced Salvaging

Powerful Fishing Rod, a Powerful Fishing Magnet in your inventory, and a Water Pal.
- Advanced Fishing Rod (Pengullet)
- Advanced Fishing Rod (Depresso)
Search the high-level seas around Sakurajima Island or Feybreak Island.
Look for barrels with gold-colored metal bands.Cost: Using advanced salvage consumes 1 Fishing Magnet per successful pull.

Use Pals like Jellroy as your active mount; their partner skills give you a chance to double your loot or get rare items.
