Astralym doesn't seem to be a life-form from this planet. It has no observable mouth, digestive system, or reproductive organs.
The Pals on this island may all be mysterious life-forms in their own right, but they all possess the basic biology for eating and reproducing. Astralym deviates even on that fundamental level.
But if it doesn't eat, then how does it obtain energy? And if it doesn't reproduce, then how does it preserve its species?
