Bjorn Seligsson’s Diary - 4

I wonder if the lone daughter of Rayne's blood is well.
I did her a disservice.
In any case, the last time I saw her, she still at her mother’s breast.
She will not remember me.

Her father and I never saw eye to eye.
He was not a man driven by duty or the past.

On the day we parted ways, I gave him a |final test.|
A foolish pretense.
In the end, it was nothing more that a childish spite.

Surprisingly, he accepted without hesitation.
He turned out to be a man of principle, more than I had expected.
It was a task even a child could manage.
But he never returned.

Since then, the young ones who had gathered around him
were left without leadership, but it seems his daughter has taken the helm
and brought some semblance of order.

Though our paths diverged, she has faithfully upheld the mission to guard the tower.
Indeed, she is truly your child.
