Mutation

Mutation is a new mechanic where breeding has a low chance of producing a Pal stronger than the normal breeding result. Pals born from mutated eggs have higher stats and a unique passive skill.

New cakes with special effects:

Cake: has 1% Mutated Egg spawn rate
Mushroom Cake: Slightly increases the likelihood that newly born Pals will have higher stats.
Vegetable Cake: Produces two Pal Eggs at once. treat as 2%.
Extravagant Vegetable Cake: Increases the likelihood of mutations and makes stat growth more likely. Has 3% Mutated Egg spawn rate.
Special Cake: Increases the chance of inheriting multiple passive skills from Pal parents. Maximum of 6 passive skills can be transferred.

Mutation Eggs are their own system

Mutation Eggs don't just hatch better versions of the parents, parent pairs produce completely different species with:

90-100 IVs
Alpha pal
Hatch at 2 star condensation (12 pals worth)
2-4 New rainbow passives
High Level Skill of its type
Better Pal (based on breed value)
Work Suitability random +2

Mutation has exclusive list. Breed Self Pals, Tower Pals and Raid Boss Pals are not in the list.

New mutated rainbow passives

Immortality
- Life Steal +5%
- Pal Auto Health Regeneration Rate +100%
- Attack +15%
Idiosyncratic
- Pal and Player Auto Health Regeneration Rate +50%
- Defense +25%
- Immune to Poison Damage
- Immune to Burn Damage
Babysitter: While at a base, increases egg production speed by +30% and incubation speed by +30% for Pals assigned to a Breeding Farm.
Heavily Armored: Immune to Explosion Damage
Skymarcher: Mounted Jump Count +2

Mutation Passive Skills can be passed on to offspring through breeding. Don't work with Yakumo's Birds of a Feather.

Disposable Implant

"Disposable Implant" usable at the Pal Surgery Table. It is consumed on use, but can grant more powerful passive skills.
